The Big Treasure Chest in Turkey is a donation by a peasant family living in the village of Akdere, Anatolia. It is a dowry chest, handed over in the family since generations.

remark:
In Turkey the project was realized in a very limited scale and with a small budget by students of Middle East University, Ankara. Their production included a film of 25 minutes.
Locations were the village Akdere in Anatolia and two socially different areas in Ankara.
This production should be looked at as pilot. We aim at having the project taken over by a larger organization or by Ministry of Culture - to make it a countrywide production all over Turkey.
